The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 requires districts to define Technology Literacy.  LPS has developed the following documents for this purpose, but technology literacy is just the tip of iceberg.  The question being asked here is what kinds of productivity do students need to master in school to be world-class learners?

Please find linked HERE the draft overview of 21st Century Productivities and Essential Skills.

Next, here are draft scope and sequence documents for ELEMENTARY and MIDDLE for teaching with technology in LPS schools.

Finally, we have developed a sampling of technologies and how they can be modeled for schools.

Digital Camera, Document Camera, Nova 5000, Dana, PodCast, Mobile Lab (COW), SmartBoard, Clickers, and more to come...

Dan, thanks for sending the info on middle level tech. We are in the process of looking for a new coach/teacher and this will be very helpful.
Enjoy the conference!
