The Littleton Public Schools Foundation grants funding for projects that inspire creativity, learning, and improved performance of students in Littleton Public Schools (see About Us/Mission and Goals).
The LPSF seeks projects that:
·Encourage the recognition and development of individualized needs of students
·Promote learning readiness
·Encourage parental involvement in education
·Promote gender equity in education
·Encourage the use of technology to enhance learning in the classroom
·Enhance and improve existing curricula and instruction in language arts, social studies, math and science, particularly, but not exclusively, in the early grades
Generally, the LPSF does not fund projects for the following:
·Capital equipment
·Capital improvements to district facilities
·Release time for teachers or staff
·Salaries for teachers or staff
·Transportation costs
·Stipends for teachers or staff to attend conferences, seminars or classes
