Teacher recipients of the 2008 PTO Scholarship Fund grants were honored at a reception held in their honor May 7 at the Education Services Center.  Grant funds are provided by individual school PTOs and help teachers pay for their continuing education. This is the 50th year this program has provided grants to teachers. Pictured are this year's recipients and Superintendent Scott Murphy.

The Heritage High School community recently raised more than $26,000 during its Make a Difference campaign to help fund a sister school in Kabala, Sierra Leone.

Littleton Public Schools is one of only two Colorado districts to be recognized by the NAMM Foundation as one of the “Best Communities for Music Education”.   Chosen programs exemplify community commitment to include music education as part of a quality education for all children.
 
Two LPS teams – one from Powell and one from Wilder - have qualified to attend the Destination ImagiNation Global Finals in Tennessee.

Thanks to a change in the state funding formula, Littleton Public Schools is expanding free, full day kindergarten offerings to Ames Elementary.  More.
