Sources of Pride - Provide free full-day kindergarten classes to serve students' academic needs
- Initiated a Literacy Block for grades K-5 that provides intensive reading and writing instruction to small groups of students
- Implemented the LPS Universal Literacy Framework for kindergarten through fifth grade, which provides intensive reading and writing instruction to all students
- Implemented Everyday Math, the LPS approved textbook, at all grade levels
- Continued as an authorized International Baccalaureate World School, offering the Primary Years Program to students in grades K-5
School Improvement Goals 2008 Update - By 2009, the number of students at all grades scoring in the Advanced or Proficient categories on the Reading CSAP will increase by seven percent
